What is the TempTraining Fund?

TempTraining is the continuing training fund for temporary workers subject to the collective labour agreement (CCL).

Deduction of 0.7%

Each new temporary worker has a 0.7% contribution to the Collective Agreement deducted from their salary. Another 0.3% is paid by the temporary agency.

This 1% contribution allows TempService to manage the services provided by the Collective Agreement, but also the continuous training fund for temporary workers.

Reimbursement and allowances

The fund allows you to obtain reimbursement of the costs of attending a course and also an allowance for loss of earnings.

How does it work?

By accumulating hours of work with the agency, you increase the amount available to you to invest in training

For 88 hours, you are entitled to CHF 500.00 for training and CHF 250.00 in compensation for loss of earnings.

For 176 hours, you are entitled to CHF 1’000.00 for training and CHF 500.00 in compensation for loss of earnings.

For 352 hours, you are entitled to CHF 2’000.00 for training and CHF 750.00 in compensation for loss of earnings.

For 528 hours, you are entitled to CHF 3’000.00 for training and CHF 1’250.00 in compensation for loss of earnings.

For 704 hours, you are entitled to CHF 4’000.00 for training and CHF 1’750.00 in compensation for loss of earnings.

For 880 hours, you are entitled to CHF 5’000.00 for training and CHF 2’250.00 in compensation for loss of earnings.

Which courses can be reimbursed?

As a rule, these courses are related to improving your skills and vary for each professional sector, from construction to logistics, industry and commerce.

For example, you can enrol in a course to obtain a forklift licence or a bridge crane licence. Lifting work platforms (AWP), safety courses, courses for professional drivers, language and IT courses.

All you have to do is choose what’s right for you and send in your application for training reimbursement!
