Generative AI in business: from curiosity to real productivity
28 January 2026
Many Ticino companies have already given their staff access to one or more generative artificial intelligence tools, but without dedicated training their use stays superficial — a few emails rewritten, a few summaries — far from the real potential of these tools.
The leap in quality comes when you learn to build effective prompts, to integrate AI into recurring processes (reporting, first drafts of documents, analysis of large amounts of text) and to recognise its limits, particularly with sensitive data and fact-checking.
BLC's AI programmes are practical, not theoretical: we work on concrete cases brought by the participants, not on generic examples, and every session produces output that can be reused directly in everyday work.
One point that is often neglected is security: what can and cannot be entered in a prompt, and how to protect company and customer data. It is a topic we always cover together with practical skills, because adopting AI without awareness of the risks is itself a risk.
