Accounting
Basic accounting: an underrated transversal skill
20 February 2026
People who work in sales, management or administration often have to read a balance sheet, interpret a budget or discuss expenditure and revenue without specific training in accounting — a limitation that slows decisions and creates constant dependence on the finance department.
BLC's general accounting course is designed precisely for those who start from zero: the fundamental concepts — double-entry bookkeeping, balance sheet, income statement — are covered with a practical approach, based on real examples rather than theoretical definitions.
It is a programme particularly suited to those who are retraining and want to move into administrative roles, but also to owners of small businesses who want to manage the basics of their own accounts independently before turning to a fiduciary.
At the end of the course, participants are able to read their company's accounting documents on their own and to talk with more confidence to accountants and auditors.
